Abidjan-Lagos corridor road project to be completed by 2040

By 2040, there will be a six-lane dual carriage way connecting Abidjan, Ghana, Togo, Benin and Lagos, under the Abidjan-Lagos Eastern Corridor Road Project. The over 68-billion-dollar project is to improve road infrastructure, promote efficient transportation, and ultimately facilitate regional trade. Roads and Infrastructure experts from the five countries are meeting in Accra to deliberate on the progress made so far and measures that need to be taken for the project to take off.
