The Police Criminal Investigations Department has declared the Chief Executive of embattled gold dealership firm, Menzgold, wanted. Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1 is wanted for defrauding by false pretence after months of Menzgold’s failure to pay returns to customers. Separate arrest warrants were also issued by an Accra Circuit Court, demanding the apprehension of NAM1, and some directors of the gold dealership company. The warrants follow series of demonstrations by customers of the struggling gold dealership company, with the recent being clients in Kumasi. The International Police, Interpol, has been copied with the warrant to assist in his apprehension. Meanwhile, the CID is encouraging persons with knowledge of his whereabout to contact the police for his arrest.
