Minority critiques government ahead of 2018 budget

The Minority in Parliament have critiqued the government, for how it has handled the economy, since assuming office on 7th January this year. They cited the increase in debt to GDP ratio, from 72.5 per cent, as at December 2016, to the current level of 73. 6 per cent, the failure of the 177. 2% ESLA bond, changes to the country’s fiscal regime and unemployment.
