Ghana have maintained their position on the latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday, March 3rd. The national teams of Ghana were ranked 41st in the world for the latest release and also kept their fourth position in Africa.
Cape Verde Islands however disposes 2015 Africa Cup Nations Champions Cote d’Iviore to top as the best ranking nation in Africa.

Ghana Football Association vice-president George Afriyie has backed Accra Hearts of Oak as favourites to win the Ghana Premier League game this season.
Kenichi Yatsuhashi and his men have six points from their two league games so far and Mr. Afriyie thinks they are on the right track.
George Afriyie told Starr FM in an interview: “From what I am seeing I won’t be surprise to see Hearts of Oak winning the Premier League.”

Swansea City playmaker Andre Ayew has dedicated his team’s victory against Arsenal on Wednesday night to coach Francesco Guidolin. The Swansea manager was hospitalized and missed his team’s victory against Arsene Wenger’s men.
Andre Ayew tweeted “ Great win! 3 points! This win is for our coach. Get well soon. Now time to prepare for Saturday. Thanks to all the fans.

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Masud Didi Dramani has rejected the opportunity to coach Aduana Stars.
Didi in an interview with Kumasi-based Metro FM said:
“They (Aduana Stars) approached me but I had to turn down the offer due my current busy schedule in charge of two national teams. I have lot on the table and that is why I rejected the offer.”

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola believes the German Bundesliga is not an easy competition and that nothing is guaranteed.
His comments come after his team lost on Wednesday night in the Bundesliga after 17 consecutive home wins. Bayern play second placed Borussia Dortmund this weekend and go into the game with their lead slashed to 5 points.
