Registrar General to fine organizations who fail to file their 2017 annual tax returns

Effective Monday, June 4, 2018 companies, associations, clubs and non-governmental organisations including churches who have not filed their annual returns for 2017, by April 30, 2018 would have been deemed to have defaulted. According to the public Relations Officer of the Registrar General’s Department, Miss Constance Adomaa Takyi, the non compliance of the law will attract a penalty of 350 Ghana cedis in addition to the statutory annual filling fee of fifty Ghana cedis.
